Grandmother's Linens
I was very excited to discover that my sister had taken some photos of my grandmother's linens drying on the line outside of her house in Colorado. These linens were the inspiration for the textile line I launched late last year. Looking at this photo of the drying laundry I can almost smell the fresh scent of air-dried linens. Maybe it was the pine scented mountain air, but laundry never smelled as fresh as it did those summers in Beulah. My grandmother never owned a dryer. Why should she have, when Colorado summers are so arid that laundry takes less than an afternoon to dry?

it is pretty cool, huh? helping clean out my grandmother's house revealed a treasure trove of daily artifacts from the past 80 or so years.
