It sounds yummy. I'll have to give it a try. (I don't tend to have white rice around, though. But I wouldn't expect this would work with brown rice, since the cooking time is so much longer for brown rice.)

alejna- i'd just probably add the brown rice with the lentils at the beginning of the recipe. let me know how it works out!

Completely out of the blue - decided to come see what you're doing over here on Pantry Permitting - and here you are talking about mujuddra! Awesome. So glad you're still cooking & enjoying it. My favorite staple for when I haven't been to the grocery store but still have lentils, rice, onions & olive oil around.
I've got to pick up Vegetablog again. Maybe soon!
